Sena Cases offers leather iPhone 5 cases in many styles and the Magnet Flipper Leather Case is one of the most functional cases in the line up. The Magnet Flipper case protects the entire iPhone 5 including the front display, comes with a belt clip system and optional belt clip, and you can choose from a collection of thirteen colors and textures. The case is very protective but does add some bulk to the slim phone.
The Sena Magnet Flipper Leather Case is made with good quality full grain Italian leather. The fine texture version of the finish is smooth and shiny in 9 colors, and it also comes in crocodile finish in four colors. The case covers the entire iPhone 5 and the front cover has padded insert. The phone holder is top loading and easy to slide your phone in or take it out. The loading slot has a snap closure tab that shuts the phone holder securely. The front cover connects with the phone holder at the bottom and shuts securely with magnetic coins. The front cover has a built-in slot that you can store an ID or credit card with one or two bills in. The case is easy use for making phone calls and using apps, though the exterior surface on the smooth grain leather version is a little slippery.
The Sena Magnet Flipper Leather Case looks to be nicely built with form fitting cut and strong stitching. Though the case only weighs 1.4 ounces, it does add some bulk thanks to the bigger frame that protects the iPhone 5 from bumps and shocks as well as the padded front cover.
The Sena Magnet Flipper Leather Case has cutouts for ports and buttons or gives you access to them. The case leaves the four corners of the phone open, and half of the top of the phone open to give you access to the power button. The cut for the silence button isn't big and it's not aligned with the slider perfectly either, you may have to position your phone to center the slider to the cutout. The volume buttons are actually covered by leather, it's not hard to use them when you can see the markers on the leather since touch feel isn't sufficient, but it's not easy to do in the dark. The case has cutouts on the bottom to give you easy access to the Lightning port, the 3.5mm audio jack and bottom mic and speakers. The cutout for the rear camera and flash is generous, so you should have no trouble using your camera while your iPhone 5 sits in this case.
The case also covers the top and bottom portions of the front display, and it has cutout above the screen for the front camera, sensors and earpiece, and a semi-circle cut for the Home button below the display. The cut for the top part works fine but the semi-circle cut for the Home button gets in the way of pressing the button slightly. On the back of the case, you'll find a small belt clip mount, and you can choose to use the included belt clip with it or ignore it if you don't need it. It's thin and small, unobtrusive.
The Sena Magnet Flipper Leather Case is a protective case for iPhone 5 that covers the entire phone. The case is easy to use, looks and feels good quality and comes in many color and texture choices. It's a functional case also given the cutouts for ports and buttons, though a couple of them aren't perfectly centered like the cut for the Home button. The case offers an additional slot for your ID and a couple of folded bills and a sturdy belt clip mount with an included belt clip. We like the look of the case, though the exterior feels a bit slippery in hand.
