Acer debuts Iconia W3 8-inch Windows 8 tablet and Ultrabooks at Computex
      #44779 - 06/03/13 10:23 AM

Acer announced their new Acer W3 Windows 8 tablet PC at Computex along with two new Ultrabooks and an All-in-One PC. Here are the details on these newly announced computers:

Acer Iconia W3 Tablet PC

The Acer W3 Tablet PC is the industry's first 8-inch tablet PC with Windows 8. It comes pre-installed with a full version of MS Office at no additional expense, making it great for work and school. It weighs only 1.1 pounds and measures 0.45 inches thick, so it's easy to hold in a single-hand. Its HD display vibrantly highlights 720p video playback and presentations. It has micro-HDMI and micro-USB for connecting to displays and other devices. The optional full-sized keyboard boosts productivity.

Pricing and Availability: The Acer Iconia W3's MSRP is $379, but you will likely see it lower than that when US retailers begin presales on June 4th.

Acer Aspire S7-392:

Acer's next-generation 13.3-inch Aspire S7-392 Ultrabook retains the celebrated characteristics of the previous model but has improved battery life (up to 7 hours, a 33% increase from its predecessor), a refined electroluminescent backlit keyboard with a deeper keystroke for more natural and comfortable typing, and 2nd generation Acer TwinAir cooling with a quieter fan. In addition, it is now equipped with a 4th generation Intel Core processor (more details on that June 4) and wireless display (WiDi) technology for big-screen entertainment and productivity.

Pricing and Availability: Configs, availability and pricing will be announced for the U.S. later.

Acer Aspire S3-392:

Acer's new S3-392 is a fashionable Ultrabook with powerful computing features -- the latest Intel Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce GT735M graphics, a 13.3-inch 1080p Full HD display with IPS technology, a 1TB hard drive and WiDi technology. It has inherited the cutting-edge design of the Aspire S7 Series, including the patented dual-torque hinge that keeps the display wobble-free; Acer TwinAir cooling technology for keeping it cool; and a light-sensing keyboard that auto adjusts to ambient light.

Pricing and Availability:Configs, availability and pricing will be announced for the U.S. later.

Acer Aspire Z3 Series:

The Aspire Z3 Series all-in-one PC offers comfort, control and convenience all-in-one with an ergonomic chassis, easy operation and optimized sound. It features a 23-inch Full HD IPS display with 10-point touch technology for stunning picture quality and intuitive operation, and front facing Harman Kardon speakers that deliver exceptional sound quality.

Pricing and Availability:Configs, availability and pricing will be announced for the U.S. later.
