iLuv has released a new line of cases for the new iPhone 5s. These cases can fit both the iPhone 5 and the iPhone 5s as there's little change save for the dual LED flash on the rear between these two iPhone models. The Flightfit Gaudi case fits the iPhone 5s perfectly and it's super easy to install and take off. The case is very protective of the back and sides of the iPhone 5s and it also glows in the dark.

Design

The iLuv Flightfit Gaudi case for the iPhone 5s has a cool design. Inspired by Antoni Gaudi's architecture, the Gaudi case features a sculptural surface created by two-layers of protection. The inner layer is made with soft TPU that glows in the dark and the outer layer with high glossy plastic that's molded to fit perfectly with the inner layer. The two-layer design not only helps create the 3D look but also makes it very easy to put the case on or take it off by doing it in two stages. The shiny plastic on the exterior isn't too slippery thanks to the waved sculpture-like carving and the inner TPU that dots the back of the case also helps with the grip.

The Flightfit Gaudi case for the iPhone 5s comes in two color themes, black exterior with yellow interior and white exterior with blue interior. The glow-in-the-dark feature works reasonably well to help you find your iPhone 5s in the dark.

Features

The iLuv Flightfit Gaudi case has cutouts for ports but covers the buttons with TPU for added protection from wear and tear. The case has a long cutout on the bottom that leaves out the speaker, mic, 3.5mm audio jack and the Lightning port. There is a side cutout that gives you access to the silence button, though the button sits pretty deep inside and you'll need to poke your finger or fingernail into the cutout to use it. The rear camera cutout is generous, leaving the lens and LED lights freely exposed. The case covers the power button and the volume buttons, but it makes it very easy to use them.

The Flightfit Gaudi covers the entire back and all sides of the iPhone 5s. The soft TPU layer also covers the edges of the iPhone's front display. It creates a barrier to prevent the front glass from touching flat surface when you put the phone face down. The case doesn't come with any screen protector though it'll work with any screen film you get separately.

Conclusion

Fun and unique design, the iLuv Flightfit Gaudi for the iPhone 5s refreshes your phone with a new look. The two-layer design inspired by Gaudi architecture provides good protection for surface and structure of the iPhone 5s and it also makes it easier to use the case. The case comes in two color themes and it glows in the dark. You'll have access to all ports and the buttons are protected yet are easy to use. You'll need to provide your own screen protector if you need one, but the case covers the rest of the phone.
