Editor's Ratings: 4
What's Hot: Rugged design available in 3 color options. Corners are built to provide serious drop/impact protection. Full access to buttons/switches. Clear version lets the color of your 5c shine through.
What's Not: Not designed to protect against moisture.

The Urban Armor Gear (UAG) case provides excellent drop protection for your 5c in a very aggressive form factor.
Size and Fit
The UAG case features a one-piece design that stretches in the corners to allow installation/removal. It fits the iPhone 5c perfectly, and allows full access to all ports, switches, and buttons.
Features and Quality
Although the UAG case features solid bump/scuff and likely very good drop protection (untested by this reviewer) due to its reinforced corners and flexible plastic, it's important to note that it does not provide any protection from moisture or dust, nor does it have a screen protector. If you need either/both of these things, you should look elsewhere. The tradeoff, of course, is greater accessibility to your device appropriate for daily use. The light honeycomb texture on the inside of the case is somewhat soft and grippy feeling, and will not mark your iPhone in any way.
The UAG case has a very distinctive style. Particularly, the back is designed to appear that it is held together by rivets and has some very nice angles that give it an aggressive look. It is available in clear (Maverick), white (Navigator), and black (Scout). Of these, my overwhelming favorite is the Maverick due to its ability to show the color of your 5c through its clear back plate. The honeycomb pattern is visible, however, and adds an additional element of style.
The UAG Case provides a good balance between everyday protection, style, and size/weight. Its smooth construction won't stick to your pockets or gather lint, and the distinctive back plate will allow you to express yourself somewhat.
