iPad Case Review: Moshi VersaPouch Mini Review
      #46149 - 03/07/14 08:53 PM

The Moshi VersaPouch Mini is a pouch style case for the iPad mini as well as any 7" or 8" tablet including the Kindle Fire HDX, Kindle Fire HD, Nexus 7 and more. The VersaPouch is protective of the tablet when it's stored in your bag or backpack during transit and it's very easy to use. The Origami design also turns the pouch into a stand. The Moshi VersaPouch Mini currently comes in only one color, Velvet Gray.

The Moshi VersaPouch Mini has a clean design and looks modern in the gray fabric. The microfiber material feels soft in hand and the pouch has rigid inserts to protect your tablet from bumps, scratches and nicks. Though fairly protective, the VersaPouch doesn't add much bulk to the tablet and only 2.8 ounces to the weight. The pouch doesn't have any Velcro or metal closure that might scratch the tablet's surface. The interior lining is also soft microfiber that will treat your tablet kindly and the stitching is strong.

The Moshi VersaPouch Mini has enough room to fit an iPad mini either naked or even with a Smart Cover on. It can also work with other 7" and 8" tablets. 7" tablets fit in the pouch with room to spare and 8" tablets fit snugly.

The Moshi VersaPouch Mini is easy to use. The pouch has four magnetics at the mouth of the opening and they keep the case shut securely. The origami design can turn the pouch into a steady stand and you can use it to position your tablet in either portrait or landscape orientation. The stand only offers one viewing angle that's comfortable for watching movies and video chatting. You can wash the pouch with water or suede cleaner if it get dirty and let it air dry naturally.

The Moshi VersaPouch Mini is for those who need to store their tablet in a bag during daily commute and even travel. It can protect the tablet from scratches, bumps and nicks, but not too much from drop shock or serious force against the tablet. The pouch is large enough for the iPad mini to fit even with a Smart Cover and for any 7" or 8" tablet to fit as well. The built-in stand is very convenient for media viewing and video chatting.

What's Hot: Simple, protective, and functions as a stand.
What's Not: Doesn't defend against series shock and comes in only one color.
