AT&T Provides Free Wi-Fi in NYC Parks

ATT today announced visitors to New York City's popular High Line can now stay connected with free Wi-Fi service between 14th and 16th Streets. The elevated park on the west side of Manhattan becomes the twenty-first New York City park to offer free connections as part of ATT's Wi-Fi in the Parks initiative. Here's more info:

Launched three years ago, Wi-Fi in the Parks allows all smartphone and tablet users regardless of carrier to connect to the AT&T Wi-Fi network. Park visitors averaged 10,000 connections per day in 2013 and have made 9.5 million connections since the initiative began.

In addition to the High Line, park lovers can find free AT&T Wi-Fi at the following locations throughout the city:

Central Park (multiple locations)
Foley Square
High Line
Holcombe Rucker Park
Marcus Garvey Park
Thomas Jefferson Park
Tompkins Square Park

Brooklyn Bridge Park Piers 1, 5 and 6
Fort Greene Park
Herbert Von King Park
McCarren Park Field House
Prospect Park Picnic House

Astoria Park
Queens Zoo
MacDonald Park
Staten Island:

Clove Lakes Park
FDR Boardwalk
