      #46500 - 05/28/14 02:51 PM

ATT today announced today customers can pre-order the long-waited ASUS PadFone X exclusively from ATT online or in stores on June 6 for zero down or no annual contract. The smartphone and ASUS PadFone Station will be available at $22.92 per month with ATT Next 18, $29.80 per month with ATT Next 12 or $199 with a two-year agreement. Here's more info:

PadFone X combines both the smartphone and ASUS PadFone Station into an innovative package with seamless transitions that lets you choose between two screen sizes dependent on the task at hand. For a closer look at the PadFone X, check out these videos:

PadFone X is a 5-inch full HD Android 4.4 (KitKat) smartphone that docks into the included PadFone Station to transform into a 9-inch full HD tablet-like experience, allowing you to select the optimal display experience at any time - whether watching a video at the kitchen table or taking a call on the road. Powered by ASUS DynamicDisplay technology, when docked, apps running on the smartphone are seamlessly resized to fit the ASUS PadFone Station's larger display. PadFone X features a thin and light design with dual front speakers, which includes ASUS SonicMaster technology to deliver a full and immersive audio experience.

A 13 megapixel, f/2.0 aperture PixelMaster camera on the PadFone X allows you to capture stunning photographs that rival or surpass those taken by dedicated digital cameras. The camera's LowLight Mode significantly increases camera performance during nighttime and in poorly lit scenes. By merging adjacent pixels, the camera increases light sensitivity by and, resulting in clear and bright low-light shots without the need for a flash. Turbo Burst Mode makes it easier to seize that perfect moment by enabling the camera to capture photos at up to 35 frames per second.

PadFone X marks the latest in a series of collaborations between ASUS and AT&T. The companies started working together in 2012 with the launch of VivoTab RT and continued through 2013 with the MeMO Pad FHD 10 LTE.

Additional features include:

-Smooth and Responsive Performance - Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 2.3GHz quad-core CPU, PadFone X offers a smooth and responsive performance.

Two optional accessories are available to enhance your mobile experience. The PadFone X Folio Bundle is a set of protective covers for the phone and ASUS PadFone Station that are designed to work together even when the phone is docked.
