Battery Temperature on Galaxy Pro 8.4 Tablet
      #46534 - 06/03/14 05:51 PM

I just purchased a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 tablet and really like it. It's fast and operates smoothly most of the time. My question is regarding the temperature of the tablet. What is the normal range for battery temperatures in most tablets? I've noticed that the back left side of my tablet can get pretty warm after somewhat intensive use...especially when I'm using the multitask function and watching youtube while looking at a few different sites under multiple tabs. Is this normal? I installed a battery temperature monitor app and my battery temperature easily stays within the 34-38 degree Celsius temperature range. Is 38 degrees Celsius too high? Just wondering what temperature range is normal for android tablets. Thanks!!!

It is normal for the tablet to slightly exceed human body temperature when it's working hard-- say gaming or multi-tasking while playing 1080p video. It's a fast CPU and thin designs put that toasty CPU closer to the casing and thus your hands.
