tablet, convertible or laptop

I have an elderly mother who loves to play those mystery/picture games. We were thinking of buying a tablet with either Windows or Android. She will mostly use it for checking emails, Facebook, web browsing, light word processing and those games. Here is the challenge, I am looking for a screen most likely bigger than 10" but no bigger than 15" resolution should be at least hd or decent. I don't think she needs super horsepower. Also. a keyboard would be a necessity. I am kind of torn about Android over Windows. She currently has a Nook Color, but that is non supported and a bit sluggish. 7" screen is just too small. I would think 128gb would be more than enough, but that cuts out a lot of tablets.

Any suggestions.

It sounds like an Android tablet would be perfect, but other than the Samsung Galaxy Note or Tab Pro 12.2, none have bigger than 10.1" displays. Would 10.1" be large enough? There are certainly plenty of puzzle-mystery solving graphical games for Android. There are a few bigger Windows tablets like the Dell Venue 11 Pro with an 11.6" display and of course the more expensive Surface Pro 3 with a 12" display, but Surface Pro 3 would be overkill.
