Alternatives to my SP4
      #48910 - 12/11/15 02:10 PM

I have a Surface Pro 4, and it's a nightmare. In fact, this is my SECOND SP4! Screen flex, sleep drain, poor driver support, and it's at a premium price. I really like the hardware, but even the tech support with whom I've talked to agree that it isn't ready to be sold.
So, I'm looking for an alternative...
I spent 1,000 for the SP4, 150 for the keyboard, 150 for the extended warranty. So, I'm willing to spend 1,300 on one. I do need it to be more or less the same, but with more SSD and memory. I don't mind it being a tablet laptop convertible... I do want a touch screen though!

Do you have any alternative ideas?

Sorry, I didn't see your post sooner. The HP Spectre x360 is a strong alternative with pen functionality (if you need that). It's heavier and a bit bigger since it's a 13" convertible laptop. If you don't need the pen feature, then the Dell XPS 13 is worth a look.
