Hi,
I'm looking for software to replace Outlook on my desktop but that can sync with my Ipaq 5450.
Features most used are Agenda Tasks Contacts.
Any suggestions?

I would be interested in this as well, personally I don't like how outlook manages appointments

Well, there are programs like Lotus Notes and Lotus Organizer, and several corporate oriented solutions like Novell Groupwise. Note that if you wish to sync with a program other than Outlook on the PC, you'll need to get Intellisync from www.pumatech.com

Check out Agenda Fusion or Pocket Informant. These are popular and full-featured PIM apps that offer a lot more than the built-in PIM apps.

Sorry, are you talking about the desktop apps such as Lotus Notes or Pocket PC apps like Pocket Informant?

Do these programs talk natively to the pocket pc or do I have to load up all this new software on the pocket pc ?
thanks

Being a Microsoft product, the Pocket PC OS and apps only sync to Outlook. However you can also sync to apps like Lotus Notes if you like if you purchase Intellisync from www.pumatech.com . Check out their site and see which desktop PIM apps they support.
