I have a ipaq 2215 when i remove a program from ipaq for some reason it will not remove the icon the program folder only on some programs not all.
please help is there a trick

The icons really should be removed when you use the Remove Programs applet under settings. If they aren't, then you can go to the Windows->Start Menu-> Programs folder to remove the shortcut icons manually.

I had this same problem with my 4155 and due to my newbie status with pda's it was not apparent at the time just how to delete it... So instead I used windows explorer on my desktop via active sinc to navigate into the 4155 and delete the stranded icon...
The funny thing is I found out where the icon was using the pda's explorer but I could not get it to delete... At the time I did not yet know how to press and hold for the equivalent right click options.

To remove the extra icons, here's what I do with my 4155... go to File Explorer, then go to Windows > start menu> programs, then delete that extra icon by pressing on the extra icon for 2 seconds then choose delete
