I was told that I would be able to surf the net bluetoothing my pda with my new cell phone.
I was able to exchange pictures (files) but don't know what to do to configure to surf the internet.
I use verizon dsl home. (should I use verizon dial up service # to connect?)
is there any way T-zone service of t-mobile benefit my websurfing in pda?
would appreciate big time! for your help!

If you pair up your T610 with your iPAQ, you should be able to use T-mobile's service on your iPAQ to surf the web. If you are not using Bluetooth, I believe there is physical cable you can use to connect the two.
You will need to sign up the data service with your carrier in order to using the Data feature besides the phone feature.
I looked around on this site, found this article which might or might not help. But it will give you a clearer picture as to what you will need to do.

this taught me that I can use my cell phone as a dial up modem, but I was wondering if there was other option too.
I was , particularly interested in using existing 't-zone' service.
I can already read emails and surf the net using t610, but it is not so convenient and screen is too small.
I only will be needing to do this only for a couple of times per month when I travel out of state, so don't really want to sign up for expensive data service.

talked to tier 3 tech support people (they are physically located in near London. !):)
(were nice and professional)
1. GPRS Interent2 configuration-done but need to sign up for $19.99 monthly data access fee.
2. old way of just using phone as a dial up modem, so called CSD by them, just eating up your minutes and little slow. (which is what I need cuz I need this as 'just in case' back up for traveling.)
bad news is existing t-zone does not help at all.
good news is, found out again BT is working great.
