Can you please tell me the purpose of a "sleeve" for the iPAQ PDAs?
Question 2, Do any programs come on the CD or SD cards?
Question 3, Once information is downloaded to a SD card, can the user delete that information and then write different data to that SD? In other words, can the SD card be used as a hard drive?
Thanks

I have a IPAQ 3765 and the sleeve I use performs three functions:
Adds an additional battery which works together with the main battery. Allows for the use (in this case) of a CF memory card, and finally the case has a protective plastic cover.
No programs come available on memory cards for use with the IPAQ, however, some do come that way for the Palm operating system.
You can re-write on the SD or CF card and all you have to do is buy it, and pop it right in and it adds sort of an additional drive.

Sleeves provide expansion options to certain models of iPAQs. Read our article here: http://www.pdabuyersguide.com/tips/ipaq_sleeves.htm
Hardware and accessory installation programs often come on the CD. Some software titles come on SD cards.
Yes, you can delete and format the SD cards.

Actually there are software packaged on SD cards for the Pocket PC as well as for Palm. Here is an example:
