Sony Pega WL 110 card and outside SSID's

How do you access outside access points, since the card does not have the capability to randomly pick up those sites? I am new to this PDA option. Thanks!
Ex: Starbuck's or airports. How do you determine the SSID? Do you have to use a laptop to search first? Can you find them on the internet?

Just enter "any" (without the quotes) for the SSID name to have the Clie search for available open access points. That should work at Starbucks
