Please help a newbie. Just bought an IPAQ 4150 and now trying to set up the wireless function. In Settings - My Work Network -Add a new VPN server connection, when prompted for Host name/IP, where do I get this info? (Sorry if this is a dumb question)Thanks for any and all responses.

Are you trying to set it up for a workplace connection that uses VPN? If so, the your IT folks would have to supply the VPN info.
If you're just trying to setup a home connection or a Starbucks WiFi connection, then you likely aren't running a VPN (virtual private network) and don't need to set up a VPN connection.

You don't need to setup a VPN to ActiveSync over WiFi. Just check your desktop to make sure it's enabled in ActiveSync (select Connections and make sure the Ethernet box is checked). Make sure it's turned on for the iPAQ too. Then you should be able to ActiveSync over WiFi, assuming you've already created a syncing partnership with the desktop.
