Hey all, I just bought my first pda(used) ipaq 5455. I'm pretty sure its blank though(seller told me its battery is empty and hasn't been charged in 3 months). What essential software do you all suggest? I wanna be able to do microsoft office stuff. Agendas/calenders and contacts. Watch movies(avi, mpg, afs, whatever) view photos(jpg, gif) wireless activites web'nemail and stuff. and any other software favorites you all have, any suggestions are great.
Windows, does this model only run pocket windows 2002 or can it be upgraded to 03, or 04(when available) and is it a free download, if not where do buy it and how much, approx? any os updates i should keep an eye out for? Thanks -Nik

I wonder if your jaw would simply drop on the floor if all of us told you..none of those you wanted done is not possible !!!!
But that is unlikely to happen

Pocket PC 2002 has enough software to do just what u wanted... it is in the memory...as far as I know.. So plug up the battery and enjoy...
However, if you still have money left to spent...upgrade to PC 2003 for convenience..check out the compatibility though...
welcome to the club....

silly question but, if I buy a cradle for syncing(the model that comes with it new) is that also a charger or is there a separate unit for charging?
