I'm brand new to the PDA world but would like to get started. What am I looking for? I'm a student in x-ray and also a personal trainer. I'd like something that is good for graphics, color, games, music, as well as programs I could download for medical classes or weight training. I'd also like it to have WiFi support or be integrated so I can connect to my home network. I've done some research and have come up with the Axim X3i which has integrated WiFi, the Tungsten T3 which has support for Wifi? and the Zodiac Tapwave which is graphic and gaming intensive. I guess I could also consider the HP Ipaq 4150/4350 series. Any suggestions?

If you need wifi, Axim X3i is a great one. I use the wifi on my X3i everyday to access the internet in office or at home. If you have a Bluetooth enabled phone. T3 works very well online via BT phones.

What about the Axim X3i vs the Ipaq 4150/4350? Also nothing of the Zodiac?

The iPAQs are also very nice units. Read our in-depth reviews on those units.
I didn't inlclude the Zodiac because there is no built-in wifi nor wifi cards yet.

I don't understand. I thought as long as there was an available SD/SDIO slot that you could buy a WiFi attachment? And the Zodiac as an available SDIO slot.

You are correct about the Zodia has an SDIO slot. But there isn't any SD Wifi card for Palm devices. There is a wifi Memory Stick available for the Sony Clies (running Palm OS) which take Memory Sticks as opposed to SD cards.

Very true, I checked, only a memory stick wifi and a compact flash wifi card. Will the Zodiac go obsolete when the PSP and nintendo DS comes out? Maybe I should go with a Axim x3i.

PSP and DS are very different devices from Zodiac. Zodiac is a full blown PDA with great set of PDA features (PIM, expansion options and Palm OS) and run all the great Palm OS software that are out there.
PSP and DS will be primarily function as game handhelds. Maybe they will have some online capability but they will be primarily for multiplayer games and MMORPG.
