I don't want to drag my laptop along to Africa, so I was thinking that a PDA might suffice. Besides the calendar and address book, I need to display images from my digital camera. The Zire 72 camera is cute, but probably won't be used until I return back to the states, so the concern is whether or not the JPEG images saved by my Panasonic to the SD card will be easily seen and organized on-screen. I want to be able to show my subjects a larger image than my camera can produce. A durable battery and MP3 capability are also helpful, and I don't want to spend too much money should the unit get lost or stolen.
Will the Zire 72 do these things easily?

The Zire 72 should be great for displaying JPGs! If your digicam images are over 5 megs each in size, it may be slow but if they're smaller, then it should work well.
