I just got H1945 and plan to buy a D-Link USB Bluetooth adapter for my home computer. Do you think I will be able to 'stream' mp3's off my main computer to my pda for listening at home?

It should be adequate for 128k bitrate encoded MP3s.

just an aditional question about this. do bluetooth connections have to be two way?
i belive the range of my palm T3 BT is about 10m. but ive seen usb adapters claiming 100m range. could i steam mp3 from my PC all round my house and pick them up on my PDA over 10m away?
or would this not work as my PDA would have no way to send data back to connect to the PC.
if i connected inside the 10m and then walked outside the range would the stram be lost?
i know nothing about blutooth or wireless networking, thanks for any help

Bluetooth is a two-way communications platform. If the adapter has a 100 meter range, then it's broadcast will cover that area and the T3 will be able to communicate beyond its own 10m range. Think of the adapter's signal as having a large umbrella pattern, and the T3 need only be under that umbrella.
