Lots of Pocket PC owners get separate WiFi cards- nothing wrong with that. But there is no SD WiFi card for the Tungsten T3 yet-- only for the Zire 71 when it comes to PalmOne brand PDAs.

Pros for integrated WiFi:

  • It doesn't get lost
  • It doesn't get left behind on your desk
  • It doesn't protrude from your device
  • It doesn't interfere with that expensive leather case you purchased

Cons:

  • If it goes bad, you have to repair/replace the PDA
  • Upgrading to faster/better when it becomes available will probably require replacing your PDA

Regarding the T3, until something better comes out there is the Enfora WiFi Portfolio .
