Quote: The 1300 mAh battery in the T5 looks promising. My T3 lasts for max 3,5 hours with its tiny battery on normal clock speed. To alleviate this I installed Lightspeed to change the clockspeed to 200 MHz so as to get up to 5 hours of work time. But does anyone know if it is possible to use the T5 battery in the T3? I know some older iPAQ's can switch to more powerful batteries.

I seriously doubt it. The lack of a slider mechanism freed up enough room in the T5 to fit the larger battery. The T3 has the largest LiIon Polymer battery that will fit comfortably. I know one individual that literally compressed and crammed a commercial 1200 mAH battery (if I remember correctly) into his T3, but he had to solder small circuit boards and connectors plus physically compress the battery a bit to get it to fit. I personally wouldn't recommend such a procedure unless you're highly proficient in microelectronics work. I definitely would never recommend ever physically compressing a Li battery package. They are known to literally explode when damaged.
