The 6315 will work on any GSM provider's network in the world once unlocked. That includes AT&T Wireless and Cingular in the US. It will not work on Verizon or Sprint because they use a different radio and network technology called CDMA.

u know i do have tmobile coverage in my area...and if u look at coverage maps, tmobile covers most areas adequetly...also, i heard that t mobile will happily give u the unlock code if u are a customer in good standing for 3 months...i need to travel to asia so thats really great, i can then use other sim cards.....
actually i dont have the 6315 yet but theres a v good deal from ebay...its new from a tmobile dealer for 399$ plus have to buy a plan of 40$ or more....so why would any of u bother paying these people 60$ or 70$ for a lousy lock code tht u can get after 3 mths of using tmobile?..

Hp 6315 from T-mobile USA can only unlock via code provided from T-mobile.
you can buy it now on ebay.
Try to search for unlock HP 6515 in ebay! Have alot of unlocker there. cost about 10$-25$ only
There is no tools until now but the price for unlock code is down too much!
