I had a T3 and was using it when it just died. The only thing that worked was the backlighting. I could not shut it off nor could I reset it. I was wondering what the chances of the insurance company I sent it too of them not fixing it and me getting a new one.

Sounds like you got the white screen of death. It should recover when the battery runs down all the way. That takes about 5 hours. Just recharge it about 10 minutes after the screen goes off.

Sounds like either a software conflict or a defective unit. I'd put my money on the software conflict since it recovers after the battery runs out. Take out or disable all hacks and low-level system apps for starters and see if the problem goes away.
