I use a T3 with the latest Palm Desktop and WinXP Pro without issues. The #1 problem people tend to have is trying to connect to the cradle through a USB hub. If that describes your situation, try connecting directly to one of the desktop's USB ports. If not, try sorting out other USB conflicts.
