You'd need a Pocket PC with a CF slot like the X50 and then you'd need to purchase a CF GSM/GPRS card. There aren't too many sold in the US but you should be able to find one or two.
The easier way might be to use a Bluetooth phone as a modem for the Pocket PC so you could browse and send emails wirelessly over GPRS. All the models you mentioned have Bluetooth.

Hi lisa,
I have an iPaq 3970 and a Sony Ericsson T 630, i am able to pair them, but i can't use GPRS on my device.
Any reasons for that ,,,

First test: Does browsing the Internet directly on your T630 work? That way we can tell if your phone has the correct data settings.
Once we're certain the the phone is configured correctly, here are the general settings on the iPAQ. Make a new connection under settings and set it to use Bluetooth modem. Set the iPAQ to dial *99#(this works for most US cellular providers). Under advanced settings, uncheck wait for dial tone, and set the baud rate to 56k or even 115k.
