I have a Dell Axim x30 with built in Wifi & am having problems connecting to my PC
I have set up a wireless Network connection & when I activate the WiFi on the Axim the computer sees it and I appear to get a connection. ( My PC uses a Prism 802.11g Wireless Adapter & It says the device is working properly )
On the PCs Wireless Network Connection Status is says : Status - Connecting, then Status - Connected Signal Strength Excellent.
When I try to Access the internet from the PPC, All I get is the message : The Page you are looking for cannot be found. I also cant Sync or communicate in any way
I did try turning off my firewall to see if that was blocking it but still no joy.

Make sure the Dell is set to use DHCP (that's probably what you are using on your home access point). Also, if you're using WEP encryption on the access point, you'll need to enter the ecryption key on the Dell. Lastly, try unchecking the 802.1x checkbox on the Dell's WiFi connection configuration screen.

I have exactly the same problem as Sparkle. My Dell Axim tells me I have a good signal and my network is seeing my PDA but I keep getting the message that "the page you are looking for cannot be found". I have followed all your suggestions and have still got nowhere. Any ideas?
