Hello now not being that great with Computers etc I got an HP Ipaq 1710 as a present I wqas wondering if someone could tell me exactly what I need to buy to connect to the Internet and how I pay for the time Im online??

Hi Greig Not sure if you already have an answer to this as Ive only just joined the forum. But just connect your pda to your pc with the cable supplied and fire away. Mine worked first time without any hassle and it uses your current internet provider. I think I had to set up a couple of minor details on the pda but it workes just fine. Antony

Recent versions of ActiveSync do indeed provide Internet sharing. If you want to use it without being tethered to your computer, however, you will probably have to buy an SD WiFi card, and then you will be able to use it in any area with a WiFi HotSpot.
SD WiFi cards are starting to become harder to locate, but it should still be feasible to find one without too much struggle.
