help!! i have an older model palm (Palm Vx) that has a DB9 female port, and i have a new laptop which has a female DB15 port as well as a few USb ports. I bought the "DB9 to USB" serial adaptors -- both the Radio Shack brand as well as Belkin -- and neither worked. I read on another webpage that someone found luck with Cables TO Go brand. any word on that? also, is there any way for the new palm cradles which are USB compatible to work with my trusty Vx?
Hmmm.. I know Palm used to sell a serial to USB adapter (sometimes called the Mac adapter since Apple switched to USB before PCs did). You might check the palmOne web site to see if they still sell it.
