I was wondering what most people averaged in battery life with the Zire 72. I would probably get it instantly if it weren't for some bad raps I've heard of the battery life and how the Tungsten E2 can get 6 hours with a looped video.

I get 6 hours of mp3 play time with Areoplayer set to turn off at 20% battery

I can get 2-3 days of on-off usage. Probably about 4 or 5 hours a day. I have it set to even lower than the lowest screen brightness with a brightness hack. It will turn it completely off all the way to full on. It is handy for night reading and saves a lot of battery. I believe it is called brightness fix.
