Excellent news: Palm announced the Windows Mobile 6 upgrade for existing Treo 750 owners around the world. In addition, AT and T (Cingular) users will get that data speed boost from UMTS to HSDPA (some of you have probably tweaked your Treo 750 to add this functionality already-- we did, but officially supported is always better). And yes, we know that should be an ampersand between the two T's of AT and T, but RSS doesn't get along with high ascii characters like the ampersand .

(Nasdaq: PALM) today announced that an update to the Windows Mobile 6 Professional operating system will be available for Treo 750 smartphone customers around the world. The Treo 750 is available from carriers in the United States, Europe and Asia and remains a key part of Palm's international expansion strategy to make Treo smartphones available to more customers.
