Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has any advice for me. I'm looking to get a new pda-phone, but need one that will be able to adequetly run my medical software (mainly database type software). Skyscape, whose software I mostly use makes a smartphone and pocket pc version of all their products, but I'm not sure how well a 200mhz device (eg HTC touch) would handle this. I really like the form factor of the smaller devices (and obviously the better battery life)!!

Medical references aren't always demanding. However, I'm not a doc and haven't used that app so I don't know how demanding it is. I can tell you that the Touch is not the fastest beast. It's fine for email and the Office apps, but things like video playback are very poor. I'd send an email to the folks who make the software and ask them the recommended minimum CPU speed.
