Hello all. I just purchased a PPC 6800 and was wondering if there was a way to enable javascript so I wouldn't have to download videos to watch them (ex. YouTube). You would think the browser would be have this feature. If not, how about downloading a different browser? If that wont work either, let me know. Thanks

The web browser does support Javascript (a good deal of it but not all). The problem is that PDA phones don't support the latest version of Flash Player which youtube uses. I wish the folks at Macromedia/Adobe would make an updated version for these devices! But so far they haven't.

I was able to download Flash Player 7 which allows me to view videos on YouTube but the connection must be so slow that they are choppy at best. Even when I am syncing with my wireless connection off my home pc the frame rate is too slow. The alternative is to download videos to watch them. The only problem is that they are so big that I couldn't fit many (more than one sometimes). What good is a media player then.

Try saving videos on a microSD card-- you can get those up to 2 gigs in capacity. If you got the Sprint version of the PPC6800, it should have come with a 512 meg card.
