It's hard to beat the Sony Vaio SZ line of 13" notebook computers. They're slim, light and lovely looking yet they boast serious power under the hood. The just-released SZ6 series moves up to the Intel Santa Rosa platform for increased speed, better graphics, draft N networking and more. We look at the SZ650 which is a 2.2GHz machine with an 800MHz FSB, 2 gigs of RAM, a hybrid hard drive, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, dual layer DVD burner, webcam and more. Being Sony, they manage to fit this into a machine that weighs just under 4 lbs. The SZ6 series have black carbon fiber casings and white LED backlit XBrite displays for ultimate eye candy. And they have hybrid graphics which means you can change from the integrated Intel X3100 to dedicated NVIDIA 8400M graphics with the flip of a switch.
