I'm a medical school student looking for a smartphone which can handle my normal PDA activities. I need to be able to add my own software/programs (hippocrates, isilo) as well as view/edit powerpoint. Memory is my greatest concern as I have many textbook type manuals to store. I would like it to be primarily a large screen but maintain the ability to plug into a larger PDA fold up keyboard. Can the Sprint Touch handle this? Wifi would also be a nice addition. I have no interest in using it for entertainment value (MP3 player, TV?.) Do you guys have any recommendations or tips? Should I just get a PDA? Thanks!!! I'm pretty clueless about this stuff.

The Sprint Touch or Mogul could handle these things, though the screens aren't particularly large. PDA phones generally have smaller displays than their non-phone counterparts because folks want phones to be smaller and more pocketable.
You might also want to consider a VGA Pocket PC which is much higher resolution and has a larger display. There's also the Palm T|X with a higher resolution (compared to PDA phones) display.
