You'll need to get the Pocket PC driver and install it on your iPAQ. You should be able to click on the setup file and it will install the driver on your iPAQ for you. You can get it at:

The Cisco 340 works like any other WiFi card. You may need to get the name of the access point and enter it in the SSID field of the Cisco software on your iPAQ. Your school may also be using encryption, in which case you'll need the encryption key too.
