The wall street journal compared it with the THera by Verizon. Said the Treo is the best on the market and that Thera sucks. Hopes this helps. You can go on WSJ's site and probably find the reviews...it was really pretty good.

It took me 4 months but I finally found a store that you can try out the Treo. Here in the San Francisco Bay Area it's at the Comp-USA store at 40th and San Pablo in Emeryville. Maybe other stores have it in stock too, but I couldn't find any.

In the SF Bay Area, some Fry's stores have working models too (of course the phone isn't activated, but it's a fully functioning model, not a dummy).
