      #33806 - 07/28/09 03:47 PM

You've got an iPhone and we know you play games. So don't by shy, come on and grab these fabulous promo codes for some great games!

What are we giving away this time? We are giving away not one, not two, but three games! These games are:

Jezz
Read our review of the game here:
http://www.mobiletechreview.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=33716

We have three copies of the game to give away. So put your name in!!

Dungeonslayer
Our review is coming soon, in the mean time check out the game on the iTunes

Here are a couple of screens to wet your appetite:

We only have one promo code to give for this game. So put your name in now!

DynoQuest
Read our review of the game here:
http://www.mobiletechreview.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Number=33824

Screens:

We also have only one promo code for this game, so you know what to do!

What is a promo code?
For those who haven't used one, it's a code you put in your iTunes to get stuff for free!! Just use Redeem link in the iTunes. Bam! You've got yourself a free game!

So what do you have to do to win these free games???
Simple!! Take out your iPhone now, count how many games you have on it. Give us a number. If you wish to rank your most favorite games, then by all means. If you wish to keep that to yourself (why?), then just give us a number. Truthful number!

Also indicate which games you wish to win. If you happen to get the code for a game you don't want, feel free to pass the unused code to your friend or family member with an iPhone and a U.S. iTunes account.

Sorry we have to say this
Due to the limitation in the iTunes, we can only give the promo codes to the U.S. iTunes registered users. The codes won't work for overseas accounts.

We will close the contest next Wednesday (August 5th) by 6pm PST. So get your names in before that.

Good luck to you all!

Ok, I have my own little collections of iphone apps and the vast majority of those are games...of course. Currently 455 apps in itunes, and I would generously estimate 40 or 50 are non-games. Apple has to take one of the 11 pages of apps so that leaves me with only 10 to play with. One of those pages has "useful" stuff like weather, shopping, and what's this song apps. The rest is all filled with games, games, games. 144 of them...at least unless some have sneaked into the invisible space beyond the last page.

May favorite games are tower defense...they take up over 2 pages all by themselves. My favortes among those (in no particular order):
7 Cities
The Creeps
Desert Chronicles (my most played game right now)
Dungeon Defense
geoDefense
Kill All Bugs
Tower Madness
Sentinel 1 & 2
Sweetwater Defense
Critter Defense
Dragon Slaughter

After that it's gotta be dual-stick/asteroids type shooters (even tho I totally suck at them):
circuit strike one
Isotope
Nano Fighter
Light Wars
Pew Pew
iDracula
7Days Apocalypse

Others that are notable:
Blimp
Kryzer
DoodleFlight
Sheep vs Zombies
I Dig It
Road Kill Cafe
Must.Eat.Birds
Save Kitty
Hot Dog Down a Hallway (795' 11" is my record)
Sky Burger
Harbor Master
Sea Captain
Minigore (the beta)
StoneLoops of Jurassica

I could go on, but those are the ones that immediately come to mind.

I would love to win the DynoQuest promo!!!!!

Well, I have about ~400 apps in iTunes, probably less than 50 aren't games. My home page of my iPod is the useful stuff: Safari, Mail, App Store, Appsniper, YouTube, etc. Anything that's a daily use item but not a game. Then page 2 is my currently playing and new and need to play. Then page 3 is strictly simple games that I can fire up and play for any amount of time, that way I have a go to page if I only have a quick couple minutes to kill. From then on, I just try to catagorize each page with games I think go together. I do have a full page of just scrolling shooters, then almost a whole page of "other" shooters, and a bunch of pinball games. Actually, I'm sort of manic about how I organize my apps I had the same problem sorting all the channels on my Wii. Oh, and one more thing, I'm also weird about needing to have at least one blank spot on each page. It just makes it easier for me to swipe.. or something, I dunno.

Ok, I don't think all that was really necessary, but Devil went there so I did too

The # of games I have on my iPod currently is 120. I don't like keeping it at max capacity, but I do have 13 pages

Don't want to list them all, but a quick top 10 would be:
Pinball Fantasies
Doom: Resurrection
NanoFighter
Touch KO
DoodleFlight
Brave Man
Crash!
Saucelifter
Underworlds
Space Invaders Infinity Gene (as of last night, amazing game)

Of course, this is subject to change at any moments notice:)

So I'm most interested in the DungeonSlayer game, with DynoQuest coming in second and Jezz third. Although, I'm just happy to have been pointed in the direction of this site by LordGek, thanks buddy!

Doh, I didn't even catch the avatar at first! You were a beta-tester for Minigore?

Yup, I sure was, and Minigore certainly grew in polish as the devs took our feedback and refined the game.
