This morning the BlackBerry App World catalog became available online. Visitors to the BlackBerry App World web site can now access information on the wide range of available applications - directly from their desktop by visiting www.blackberry.com/appworld
The online catalog lets you browse by featured items, top downloads, categories or subcategories, as well as search for applications by name, "free," "paid," or "new."
Each application page features a description, pricing, size of download, screenshots and reviews. Users can also see which BlackBerry smartphone, language and carrier the application is available for.
To get any applications they select, users are prompted to provide their email address, and a URL is emailed to their BlackBerry smartphone, which they can use to download the application from BlackBerry App World onto their handset.
