Orbital Worlds today announced Armoured Shift, an upcoming iPhone and iPod Touch shooter set to hit the App Store in September. With engaging, motion-based controls, Armoured Shift puts players in command of the Scythe MKIII, a powerful and agile spacecraft, and challenges them to defeat waves of asteroids, enemy ships, and deadly bosses.

Unlike the majority of shooters available on the App Store (which rely on dual on-screen virtual joysticks), Armoured Shift takes advantage of the iPhone?s accelerometer for a uniquely immersive gaming experience.
