I recently heard a corporate IT person express an opinion that WinMo is experiencing a slow death. BlackBerry has a strong hold on the corporate side; iPhone is the "fun" device; Android phones are the I-don't-have-an-iPhone-but-I'm-still-tech-savvy devices. So, how does WinMo fit into this picture? Our company supports BlackBerry or WinMo on Verizon and I'm trying to pick a new device. Since I'll be locked into a two-year contract, I'd prefer to pick a winner!
Thanks!

I'd say that reports of Windows Mobile's death are greatly exaggerated. There are some very cool WinMo devices, particularly HTC's recent TouchFLO 3D and upcoming Sense UI phones. Pick the phone that suits your needs and tastes best and don't worry about what your IT department or some article says. I hate to say it but some folks who spend their days and years reviewing smartphones are more impatient than the average savvy user and are more jaded (it happens when you play with a 100 of the most cutting edge devices on the market). That leads to the "WinMo is so old thing" when there are actually still good devices out there.
