Sprint Announces the Samsung Epic 4G Android Phone with QWERTY

Not to be out done by T-Mobile's announcement of the Samsung Vibrant, Sprint and Samsung Mobile today introduced the second 4G-capable handset from Sprint, Samsung Epic 4G, also a Galaxy S smartphone and Samsung Mobile's first 4G Android-powered device. Here is more info:

Samsung Epic 4G, a Galaxy S smartphone, is the second 4G capable handset from Sprint, a Galaxy S smartphone and Samsung Mobile?s first 4G Android-powered device. It is part of a new breed of Samsung smartphones offering the very best in screen, speed and content quality for a premium user experience, offering a fully integrated multimedia, messaging and social networking experience at 4G speeds on Samsung?s industry-leading 4-inch Super AMOLED touch screen display. Powered by the Android 2.1 platform, Samsung Epic 4G?s user interface also supports a series of advanced touch screen gestures including multi-touch pinch, long tap and zoom and vertical and horizontal swiping.
