E Fun, not exactly a household name, has let us know that they'll be releasing the Next2 7" Android tablet for a crazy low price of $199. It will first be available on the HSN in November.
The Nextbook line of tablets run on Android 1.5 (oh my that's ancient). The Next2 has a 7" TFT color display, 2GB of memory as well as an SD/MMC card slot for memory expansion, an MP3 player and a photo viewer. 25 books, as well as videos and music, are pre-loaded. Each comes with a protective cover case with magnetic closure to keep it safe. Given the low price, we assume the device has a resistive rather than capacitive touch screen.
Will we review it? Yes we will!
