Barnes and Noble said it was coming, and it looks like we won't have to wait much longer for the firmware update that brings Froyo 2.2, the Android email application and the ability to download additional apps to the Nook Color.
They've also added quite a few magazines to the Nook Color repertoire, including The Economist, ESPN Magazine, Food and Wine, Travel and Leisure and PC Gamer. The bookseller has also gotten solid content for both Nook and Nook Color for their More in Store feature where you can download free content over WiFi in Barnes and Noble stores and sample eBooks for free when in sotre.
B&N has partnered with Nickelodeon to offers Nick's content in Nook Kids Nickelodeon titles. These include SpongeBob and Dora stories.
