AT&T Announces HP Veer 4G webOS smartphone available May 15 for $99
      #40583 - 05/04/11 09:03 AM

HP's smallest smartphone, the Zoolander-like HP Veer, will go on sale on Big Blue May 15, according to the carrier. You'd assume it will have HSPA+, hence the 4G moniker but it seems the phone only has HSPA. Really? Ouch. If that's true, does no one police big company marketing these days?

It will cost $99 with contract and be available in black and white. The Veer has a solid web browser with Adobe Flash, 8 gigs of storage and a 2.6" capacitive touch screen.

Other goodies include WiFi hotspot functionality that supports up to 5 clients, AT&T Navigator for finding your way and HP webOS 2.1.
