There's a battery icon that's displayed at the top of the home screen next to the time display. With Pocket PCs you have to go into the control panels to see the battery level, with Palm OS PDAs it's always displayed on the home screen.

Oh, I see what your're asking. Palms don't show you the value as a numerical value (percentage), but rather use the visual "thermometer" style indicator in the shape of a battery. There are 3rd party utilites that will show you the battery level in voltage and percent.
