Nook for iPad Now Offers 180 Magazines In Addition to Books

Barnes and Noble has released an updated NOOK for iPad app that offers customers access to enjoy one of the largest selections of digital periodicals available through NOOK Newsstand. With this update, Barnes and Noble offers customers one place to read interactive, full-color magazines, over 600 interactive kids books, and over 2 million NOOK books across multiple devices through their NOOK Libraries. At or through their NOOK devices, iPad owners can subscribe to any periodical with a free 14-day trial or purchase single edition copies of more than 180 full-color, interactive magazines and leading newspapers and read them through NOOK for iPad. They will enjoy full-color, digital versions of print editions of their favorite magazines including Popular Science, Esquire, Elle and Food Network Magazine, plus leading newspapers including USA TODAY, The Washington Post and The Chicago Tribune.

Through NOOK for iPad, iPad owners now have the same rich color NOOK Magazine experience that was first available on the award-winning NOOK Color. This includes Barnes & Noble?s exclusive ArticleView technology so readers can customize the article?s text to their favorite style in an easy to read, central panel on the display.
