Barnes and Noble Offers Nook Readers with Free Books for Students

Barnes and Noble today announced a new deal for back to school shoppers: more than $100 in free books, study tools with the purchase of a new NOOK product. The new limited-time promotion includes a complimentary academic content package with purchase of The All-New NOOK or NOOK Color today through September 11. Students and anyone who wants to catch up on the classics can enjoy a free collection of 12 Barnes and Noble Classics NOOK Books and 12 SparkNotes to kick off the back-to-school season, along with other complementary items from Barnes and Noble including three NOOK Study guides and four NOOK Apps to help stay organized. All those books are already free from Google Books (and the Kindle Store, for that matter)! So I guess the promo is mainly that you are getting the Spark Notes guides...
