Ten months and we're finally here, looking at the official BlackBerry Playbook 2.0 OS update as downloaded OTA yesterday. The 410 meg update downloaded smoothly and installed without a problem: good going RIM. While the tablet isn't any faster, it does sport several key features that make it more competitive with other tablet platforms.
In our video we check out the new native calendar, contacts and email application and compare them to the BlackBerry Bridge apps. We test the updated Bridge with remote control (cursor and keyboard) using the BlackBerry Bold 9930 on Verizon. We check out Docs To Go, Print to Go, and explore BlackBerry App World to check out those newly ported Android apps. With the 16 gig PlayBook priced at $199 at some retailers, if you're considering taking the plunge, do check out our video first and our BlackBerry PlayBook review.
