How do you make a case for a giant phone with a 5.3" screen? Speck's answer is to make it bold. Speck Fitted case for the Samsung Galaxy Note comes in a two-piece hard shell form that fits the Galaxy Note perfectly. The case is sturdy with a polycarbonate construction and offers strong structural support for the large phone. The Speck Fitted Case for the Samsung Galaxy Note comes in a very stylish pinstripe back that can compliment any business attire.

Design

For a large phone, the Samsung Galaxy Note is actually quite slim. The Speck Fitted case adds some thickness but together they don't look very bulky. For the added thickness, you get a strong polycarbonate hard shell case that can prevent any scratches, bumps and nicks to the back of the phone as well as all sides. The case comes in two pieces for easy installation and disassembling. It's very easy to put the case on, but it takes some effort to pry open the top piece from the back piece. The Speck Fitted case covers the entire back, all sides and four corners of the Galaxy Note, providing solid protection for the areas covered as well as absorbing structural shock should you drop the phone while in the case.

The interior of the Speck Fitted case has soft touch coating, and so does the sides on the exterior. The back of the case has a fabric cover that breaks the large back into pinstripe pattern. It looks stylish yet professional. The case wraps around the sides and covers the front display bezel, and your phone can rest on the case when you put it face down on a table. The soft touch coating feels nice in hand, and the fabric back helps with better handling the large phone.

Features

The Speck Fitted case is a well made case that not only fits the Galaxy Note perfectly but also gives you access to all ports and buttons on the phone. The case has a large cutout on the back for the camera and flash cluster that gives the camera lens full view and the flash enough space to fully illuminate. The bottom left corner on the back has two cutouts: the cutout for the stylus silo tapers to make it easy to slide out the stylus, and the cutout for the rear speaker is just the right size.

The Speck Fitted case has side cutouts that leave the power button and volume rocker out for easy access. The case has a cutout for the syncing/charging port on the bottom of the phone, and the cutout is large enough to make using any cable easily and to work with some cradles. The Fitted case has cutouts for the audio headset jack and the top and bottom mics.

Conclusion

The Speck Fitted for Samsung Galaxy Note case has both the great looks and function that allows you to keep the phone inside of the case for all tasks. The hard shell case feels very sturdy and protective, and the matte soft touch coating combined with bold fabric design is eye-catching. The case adds only 1.4 ounces to the Galaxy Note and it's super easy to use. We also like the price for this very protective and highly stylish case.
